Acai Berry – Rich in antioxidants, Acai provides anthocyanins which may boost the skin’s ability to prevent oxidants from affecting connective tissues; phytosterols which may protect skin collagen; flavonoids, which may exert anti-swelling properties; and omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, which are vital to proper cell contraction and regeneration. Acai has been a traditional food of the natives of the Amazon rainforest and dates back for hundreds of years.
Agave nectar – Terra Biotech’s Nectr Core is gently sweetened with Agave nectar from the heart of the blue agave cactus plant, which grows in fertile volcanic soils in Mexico. Raw Agave nectar is similar in consistency of honey, yet is lower in calories and also has a lower glycemic index.
Aloe Vera – Known as the “healing plant” in virtually every traditional culture, aloe vera has been mentioned throughout recorded history and given a high ranking as an all-purpose herbal plant. Aloe vera contains protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins A, B12 and E, essential fatty acids and is naturally rich in:

Amalaki (also known as Indian Gooseberry) – Amalaki has been a cornerstone in Ayurvedic medicine for many centuries. The fruit is high in vitamin C, polyphenols and bioflavonoids, which gives it excellent antioxidant properties.
Baobab – Baobab leaves, bark, fruit and oil have also been part of African health care for centuries. Extracted from the famous “upside down” trees, Baobab provides very high nutrient content, especially in vitamin C and calcium. It also contains iron, magnesium and many antioxidants.
Cacao – The healthful effects of real, “unspoiled” chocolate in its natural form are just now beginning to reach the public. Natural cacao beans, from which chocolate is derived, contains antioxidants, flavonoids, catechins and many other brain- and body-enhancing elements, such as magnesium which assists in heart and bone health. It is also a good source of sulphur, which supports healthy skin, nails and hair. Cacao was once traded as currency by the Aztecs who understood the power of this superfood and was considered the “food for the gods.”
Camu Camu – A small red berry from the Amazon rainforest region, camu camu has an extraordinarily high vitamin C content and is rich in antioxidant flavonoids, claiming to have the vitamin C equivalent of 30 to 60 oranges. Camu camu also contains amino acids; terpines, fiber, beta-carotene, calcium, potassium phosphorus, and iron which all may help support a healthy immune system and maintain healthy gums, eyes and skin.
Cupuacu – Cupuacu fruit, known as “pharmacy in a fruit,” provides potent phytonutrients (polyphenols, vitamins B1, B2 and B3), antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and also several recently discovered flavonoids. Among its many reported health benefits are immune system support, increased energy and stamina, and a more radiant, youthful look.
Curcumin - Curcumin, a substance found in the spice turmeric,
has long been used in Asian medicine to treat maladies ranging from heartburn
to arthritis. Now some research suggests that curcumin may help prevent or
treat cancer.
Goji (also known as Wolfberry)– Goji berries have a long rich history of use in East Asian folk medicine as far back as 2500 BC to the first Emperor of China. Compositional analysis has shown that the little Goji berry is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Some of goji’s many unique nutrients are beta sitosterol, an anti-swelling; betaine, to support liver health; cyperone, to benefit blood pressure; and physalin, to boost the immune system. Its high ORAC value ranks it as one of the top antioxidants (e.g., beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin, important for eye health).
Grape Extract – We use a unique, highly concentrated 100% natural extract of grape skin, seed and fruit. It has been shown to be one of the most powerful natural antioxidant ingredients available. It contains polyphenols (e.g.,resveratrol), which some people consider “nature’s biological response modifiers” because of their ability to help the body maintain health.
Luo Han Guo– This mighty fruit has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries as a longevity aid. Recent research suggests that luo han guo has antioxidant and anti-swelling properties. It is a low-calorie, low-glycemic food used as a sweetener in beverages and cooked food.
Maca Root– Scientists refer to maca root as a superb adaptogen, a plant that promotes benefits while inducing no adverse effects. Although maca does not contain hormones, it may be one of the best natural ways to regulate and support endocrine health. In other words, regulation of metabolism, energy levels and a sense of well-being.
Mangosteen – Native to Southeast Asia, mangosteen contains numerous phytochemicals. Additionally, these xanthones are powerful antioxidants, which can help prevent damage to healthy cells and restore health to areas that may have already been damaged. Over 40 of the 210 xanthones identified in nature are in mangosteen fruit.
Maqui Berry – In laboratory testing, the highest antioxidant value goes to the maqui berry. Maqui berry is also rich in flavonoids, polyphenols and anthocyanins, which have been shown in preliminary medical research to have broad biological effects.
Pomegranate– Popular in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years, the hearty pomegranate is known for its wonderful seeds. These power-packed pebbles are a good source of Vitamins C and B5 giving it good antioxidant capability.
Quercetin – A powerful antioxidant, quercetin may help to relieve allergy symptoms.  Clinical studies have shown that quercetin can have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system.
